Since the very beginning, Porsche has been designing and manufacturing 911s with its all passion. The 911 has its unique charm combined both elegant and sporty, and as the symbol of the brand, Porsche introduced the new 911 GT2 RS in 2017 - the most powerful and fastest 911 of all time.

Just like the whole family, the appearance of this 911 GT2 RS is rarely changed, it can be recognised as a 911 from the first sight. However, the details and aerodynamics are mostly redesigned, to be closer to meet its limit performance.

The aerospace-derived NACA air intakes replace the underbody cooling in the GT2 RS, now the cooling air goes directly to the brakes through these two intakes. There are also louvers on top of the wheel houses, to reduce the overpressure while the wheels spinning fast. Two big air intakes are located on top of the engine to express more needed air for the 700 horsepower, while the giant rear wing and the diffuser under the floor generate roughly 400 kg of downforce.

Based on the 911 Turbo S 580 horsepower engine, the GT2 RS has an even stronger heart - a 700 horsepower biturbo flat engine. Weighing in at 1,470 kg with a full fuel tank, it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 340 km/h. Many new technologies, like the new cooling system, are applied in order to deal with this large engine under all conditions. Moreover, the customised transmission (PDK) is made from titanium, reduces 7 kilograms less than the 911 Turbo's.

Being a prime 911, GT2 RS set a new record of road-approved sports cars on Nürburgring of 6:47.30 minutes in 2017. Cooperated with Manthey - Racing, the modified GT2 RS MR completed the lap and refreshed the record of 6:40.30 minutes, on 25 October 2018, raised the bar for all challengers.
